My Trip to Penang

I know. This post should be posted a long long time ago.. BUT .. here goes..XD
Penang- the pearl of the Orient is famous for its food. And I obviously will not miss up on such a good chance to try good food. As first timers in Penang , we headed to the hawker stalls in Gurney drive in the afternoon for our first meal .( Yeah, I know the stalls are not open ) As we were very hungry and the stalls were not open, we had to settle for :

Yup.Our first meal in Penang was McD. Haha.
After food , we went to burn some calories at the mall nearby - Gurney Plaza

But what's that dude up to ?


& I never knew Evelyn had a shop here ? LOL..& who is Crabtree by the way ?
(Actually, Crabtree and Evelyn is known throughout the world for its distinguished range of naturally inspired body, face and home products.)

After walking around for a day, we were back again to food hunting. Although the sky looks like I was going to rain, I decided that we would still go and try out the food at Gurney Drive hawker stalls.

Apparently its called pie tie ( and it tasted great )
Endless supply of food ( as long as yo have $$) OMG..Imagine all the weight you can gain .


I would say that my maiden trip to Penang would be an eating trip instead of a sightseeing trip. However, there were still some interesting places which we visited .
With this I shall let photos do the taking about the rest of my days in Penang.

& NOT to forget the others for their company. Hahah. I like this photo very much. I even send it to the Office of Undergraduate Admission of Upenn. I wonder if they liked it ?? Haha..
