I guess this is it. After giving it a thought, I've decided to end it.

There've been stalkers , fans, friends and passer-bys who visited this blog.

I thank you for your support. But now, I've officially shifted to my new blog.

This blog shall remain here, as a testimonial to the pass experiences I had.

( Unless of course, some intruding peeps decide to vandalise or steal anything from this blog)

After all, this stretch of life was an eye opener. It definetely taught me several very important lessons in life.

ps- I've decided to veto your votes on the poll. I'm sorry but I'm prefer to know who I trust.

It's 12.45. And I'm sitting in front of my laptop typing and chatting with friends. It's been a while since I talked to some of them. Julia had been complaining that my previous update was random and nothing to do with myself. I guess I'm getting back to my impersonal side. Well, I'm on holiday now, after a short semester in Nilai. I actually could be back to Kuching much earlier, but I decided to take a detour to Penang( which I will blog about soon). It was a nice experience- backpacking in Penang. Couldn't explore the place in a better way. Haha.
Last year, I was still busy mugging and nerding for my SAT 2, namely; World History, Biology and Math 2. Well, It's a bliss to get it over with. INTI result is coming out soon. I have a rather high expectation for this semester as I manage to acquire rather nice internal marks for two of my subjects, - ACC 201 & ECO 152. I'll just wait and see.

Ok. I have two tests and an assignment around the corner and finals at the end of this month. But this post is inspired by this:
To All Little Boys Wanting to Make Friend with Girls

I remember sometime ago, when some fellow was persistently bugging me through SMS, just for me to send a photo of myself to " him".
Yes. The person claims to be a guy, a friend I know from National Service.
Pretty much too naive to expect me to believe such inconsistent lies.

Coincidently, the person introduced himself as Ken, similar to the name of a NS friend of mine.
Considering the amount of "Ken"s I know, I was quick to assume that " he " was my National Service friend."He" immediately admitted "himself " as my friend from National Service.
But wait.. I needed some form of verification, so I cooked up some false facts to see if "he" is who " he" claims.
Fortunately, he fell for it.
I replied to him, but making it sound as he was from JB. "He" played with it and I knew he was a fake. I don't KNOW any Ken from JB at my National Service Camp.That Ken is from Pahang. =.=!!

FIne. I decided to call the person to give him a piece of my mind, but he did not pick up, and when on bugging me to send a photo of myself to him. Hell no!! I'm not giving any random person a photo of myself. WTF.

After a few days, the person continued bugging me, so I decided to play along with " his " game. I have no idea why the dude was so persistent but I find it strange that he knows my name. This time, I pretended that I forgot where he came from and ask him whether he came from Ipoh or JB. And the reply: Ipoh.
=.=!
( There wasn't anybody from Ipoh in my National Service Camp.)

After a countless miss calls and several annoying messages, asking me to send a photo of myself, including requests for obscene photo( Ok, you get the idea)
I ask "him" to send a photo of himself since he is so interested in getting my photo. True enough, I receive a mms containing an image with a "large sausage" .
( No idea whether it was original or a random photo from the Internet.)

That was the end of any form of communication with me and the freak.
Though, I did ask my friend to call the number, just to get the chance to see if I could recognize the person's voice. Too bad , he never answered.

Darn. I can't even achieve 160 +.

The Malacca Escape

Raya Break

I just came back from the World Heritage City of Malacca.
Gonna blog about it later when I get the photos.
Holidays have come and gone; this one is ending soon as well.
Last week, I attended the Music Soul-Live Wind Orchestra,a joint performance by the INTI Concert Band (ICB) & Musique Inspiration Band ( MIB) at the Multi Purpose Hall of the college.
It was quite a nice event.I like the music performed, especially one of the pieces by Joe Hisashi.

Carls Jr ?

Yup. I went Midvalley Megamall on Monday with several guys from college. After purchasing our tickets for the movie, we decided eat at Carls Jr. The natural cut fries, was extremely filling.

After eating and strolling for a while, we went for our movie. We decided to watch:

Black Water

I thought this was gonna be an exciting thriller, but, I was really disappointed by it. In fact, I got quite irritated halfway watching the show. Well, you can't expect much from a show with just 5 actors ( with 2 of them appearing for only a few minutes) @.@

Painted Skin
Painted Skin was much more appetizing.A love story in the ancient China; with a touch of mythology and violence. Definitely worth watching.

However, dinner at Midvalley wasn't that appealing. I had this cheese pizza for 10 ringgit plus. In my opinion, it looks like roti naan with a layer of cheese on top and some slices of tomato and around six times the price of the roti naan.

Exhausted and still a little hungry, I decided to get some Big Apple donuts for chow when I get back to Nilai.

Note: I did not eat all twelve. I only bought 5 of the donuts.

This is gonna be a brief update.

Ok, raya is just around the corner. And, I 'm currently having a break. Feeling much better after writing two ranting posts. Haha. Actually, it's not aimed at any party or anything. Just felt like posting out some thoughts of mine which had been in my mind for sometime.
Well, sometimes, I'm just a little annoyed at the shallowness of people's thoughts . They just don't have a self identity and seek to conform to the public. Such nonsense.
( ps- this is based on my general observation and interaction with people, it is not aimed at anyone. )

No, I'm not angry. Seriously. I've seen plenty of things in life to know; what's worth being angry about and what's not. ( maybe that's why I get insulted all the time. Haha. Cos I don't get angry. @.@) Speaking of getting angry, Julia told me, I looked really scary( like I was gonna kill someone) when I got angry. Perhaps, I should look like that when bargaining with sellers . Who knows? I might get 90 % discount. =p

Again, the campus seems quite deserted at this time of the year. Well, the solitude does not really affect me as I have plans for the whole week already. And I've learn to be rather independent already.

Speaking of which, my room in quite a mess. Ok. It always is in a mess. But at least I made an effort to clean it up , once in a while . Living alone in the room is definitely great. Nobody to bother you . Most important, no stupid bastard around. Ok ok.No vulgarity on my blog. Haha.

And no I'm not on drugs if I happen to sound annoyed at one moment, angry for an instance or evanescently happy .Blame the songs on my playlist.

By the way, there's very high counter-jeff activity going on facebook @.@ Goodness me!!

Some how or rather, I still feel a part of me is missing; its like being in a part of a story that is half written. Stuck in the middle , waiting for the missing piece to be unfold itself.

Perhaps the pieces are already present, waiting to be fixed to the story.NO , I not going to fix any random pieces I find. Not even if I have to go through the deepest trenches to get those pieces I want.

As the title says it, it's been a while since I did a proper update on my blog.

I just came back from AUP Club's gathering night for this semester and yum cha session with the ex-committee of the AUP Club. The gathering night is the first event organised by the 13 th INTIMA AUP Club. I would say , it went quite well. Pretty much choice of food also. Kudos, to Tania aka Milogal : the OC. Same goes for the rest of the committees. XD

Raya break begins next week , and I'm not going home. I'm ambivalent on this decision to stay back for the break. I thought I'll save the trouble of packing and unpacking since;I just came back to Nilai just a while ago. So, I 'll be stuck here with Nilai food. ( Yeah, any kind hearted people in Kuching are welcome to courier me some Kuching food. )Besides, I'm really looking forward to the sight of :

Perhaps , it's the absence of the companion of my friends that I once enjoyed. Life's been ~~pretty bland~~ ok , but not as fun !

Ok, I was tagged, but considering some people, who just can't wait to laugh at me; I shall reveal these confidential details. But, only 15 instead of 25.

I forgot what started the commotion but it went like that :

No wonder it was so " tough" .

> I accidentally went into the ladies toilet in high school and pretended I didn't know.
I was in Form One , and a new student in school. Didn't really know my way around.So, when I desperately ( dah tak boleh tahan) needed a lavatory ( nature calls, mind you) I rushed into the room with the sign toilet. There was no sign on whether it was a male or female rest room outside, but I knew from the absense of the "long drain" .Met a girl on the way out, and she asked me whether it was male or female. I gave a shrug ( dunno) and rushed away.

I was feeling moody that day and decided to ignore her when she asked me some math question. After a while,she started crying. When the news got around,my classmates started turn back and stare at "us". People started asking me what I did , why did I bully her and stuff.

I was walking by his side, and I asked him whether he saw a certain friend. When he told me , my friend was behind, I turned back, spontaneously swinging the bottle & * whacks*
Oucch. That incident was the " talk " in the class for sometime.

There was no size for the NS sports attire for me , so I had to gather in the " Dewan Makan" in the "class attire" while other people are wearing sports attire.It's not my fault at all. When the Commander of the Camp ask me to stand up and explain, I stood up in an akimbo position . A "jurulatih" behind gave me a hard whack on my hand while hundreds of people was watching!!

> I was about to open "pencil box lookalike" to borrow a scissors,but my female friend quickly stop me. It wasn't a pencil box and it actually contained something else, something girls used every month. LOL.

> I was at KLIA for a flight back for CNY break, and my flight was delayed without me knowing about it. So when I reached the waiting hall around 10 minutes before the previous flight time , I saw the place was empty but the plane was still there. Thinking that everyone else already boarded, I climbed over the barrier and tried to push the door to the sky gate open. It wouldn't budge! Even tried knocking . Few minutes later, crowds of people started to walk to my direction and I found out that they were ushered to the waiting lounge and the flight was delayed. =.=

> I refused to go to Kindergarten on the first day when I was small . I clinged on to my dad and refuse to let go.

Yes, you got me right. If you're in the mood for a little romance, here's two interesting stories for you. But don't worry, there's no spoilers here.

Love Letter is a beautiful story & a box office hit in Japan directed by Shuji Iwai . Although the movie centers about Fujii Itsuki's fiancee ,Watanabe Hiroko, the character Fujii Itsuki(female) takes over the story to the end. Definitely, a must watch!

"I believe you" by Low Kay Hwa is a bestseller in Singapore. This story, which focuses on two Junior College students' love life; received lots of good feedback for its originality and touching storyline. This story was also recommended by a friend to me . It even had a twist of secret code in it; which was not revealed in the story. There's a few chapters online for free reading, but you must purchase the book to finish reading the touching tale.

There this person I really look forward to meet when I get back to Kuching.

She's a very blur person and the first person who I heard was unable to board her flight because she forgotten to bring her I.C. =.=

It all started when I was ~~almost~~ casually late for school on the first day of school in 2006.
Although she vehemently argued that I was the one who pushed my table over to hers, while I remembered that she came and sat next to me, by chance or fate, we sat together in class for the year 2006.

Cheerful and talkative , she was , no matter what hardship she faced. Back then, I was a ~~nice and kind~~ bad tempered and ignorant person, who didn't really give much of a damn about what other people feel.

At that time, I didn't know what she was going through ,and yea, I was one mean person.
But after that, our friendship slowly developed. We've been through ups and downs, misunderstandings and frustrations, but we still managed to make it through. =)
We pulled through SPM together with aunty's delicious food delivery, and she was the best companion while studying , virtually or physically.

After high school, we went our own roads. I went National Service, while she planned to study in Singapore. Later on, I got the ~~much coveted~~ PSD scholarship while she did A-Levels at SEGi.
We kept in touch once in a while, but there wasn't much chance for me to meet up with her.
But, when I desperately had to find someone to prove read my application essays, I came running to her. She was more than willing to help and give her comments.

Thank you very much for being there for me when I needed, but I doubt I was there when you needed me. I'm really sorry for that. I don't know what would happen to our relationship in the future, but I hope that we remain close, if not closer.

In a few more hours , it would be the dawn of your special day.

030808, the first Sunday of the month of August, is a day dedicated to friendship. And on this day, I dedicated a post to these people who rocked my life in INTI-UC .They are leaving / have left INTI-UC , but these are the people who brought life to my INTI experience.Introducing:

Yung Terd, one of the ~~cutest~~ nicest neighbor , u can have. He'll be freezing at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor this fall, in his pursuit of world domination. He has his idiosyncrasies, which includes a tendency of punching the cement wall when agitated.

Claire Chin, a star from my hometown, who will be ~~singing~~ studying at Carnegie Mellon University. Nice and gentle as unlike the picture above depicts, she knows that ice-cream cheers me up. =)

Few weeks ago, I when to INTI ball at Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur. Didn't think of going , till I realized that the ticketing booth was closed. However, I still manage to get the ticket to go.=) And a date as well.

Sometime ago, I went to the Curve with Jason, Claire and Ru Yun .It was a typical Saturday, where sleeping till 12 noon was normal. But as, we had an excursion planned, sleeping had to give way .

Ok. I think I have just paid my ~~debt that left me so little time for today~~ sleep debt. Its a wonder that I can sleep until almost 3 in the afternoon. Recently, I have been having a serious lag of sleep.
One of the reasons is the weekly moral assignments which I am now liberated from . I just didn't want to plagiarize from some source and hand it up. As a result, I had to spend hours trying to complete my assignment, when some of my friends have ~~copy/ typed their assignment verbatim from certain sources~~ completed theirs.
Next, I was constantly bombarded with tasks to do for the AUP club. Luckily for me , I had quite capable assistants who took over my responsibilities when I was unavailable. Besides that, I was in-charge of the Inti Carnival Booth for AUP club. It was a defining experience for me as I fried chicken for the 1st time. =)
Gosh, I need to get some chow. My tummy is going to be upset. I shall update on my excursion to the Curve and Ipoh some time soon. See ya.

Yesterday , I passed up my moral assignment 5 minutes before the office was closed at 6 . Gosh . That was close. Imagine what Josh would say if I reached the office only after the office was closed.
Ru Yun informed me that the office would be close at 5, but there was no where I could have my assignment completed at 5.
The moral of the story : Do not procastinate on your assignments.
However, this assigment made me think about something. Why would people want to spend their lifetime thinking and pondering about all these philosophies.

& I had a freaking dangerous bus ride yesterday. The buses in Nilai do not operate based on time . They operate based on the amount of people. People was crammed like sardines in the bus but the bus driver kept stopping and getting people in .
He goes : " Bayar dan masuk belakang !!"
Gosh. I was standing there next to him near the door where a few people were basically just clinging on the door. Imagine what would happen if I was to slip and bump into them.
The people would fall off the bus like bowling pins . ( & I might fall off also )
What the morality behind this ? SO that the driver gets more commission , the company earns more and the innocent people are subjected to risk of getting killed or injured?Or is it so that our public transport becomes more efficient ?

My Trip to Penang

I know. This post should be posted a long long time ago.. BUT .. here goes..XD
Penang- the pearl of the Orient is famous for its food. And I obviously will not miss up on such a good chance to try good food. As first timers in Penang , we headed to the hawker stalls in Gurney drive in the afternoon for our first meal .( Yeah, I know the stalls are not open ) As we were very hungry and the stalls were not open, we had to settle for :

After food , we went to burn some calories at the mall nearby - Gurney Plaza

After walking around for a day, we were back again to food hunting. Although the sky looks like I was going to rain, I decided that we would still go and try out the food at Gurney Drive hawker stalls.

I've been wanting to write a post about my trip to Penang cum TOEFL test.
Well, its obvious that there's nothing interesting to say about my TOEFL test except the annoying speaking section.
My first speaking question something like this :
Name a gift that you gave someone and tell us why it is important.

I was like WTF.!!
How do they expect me to answer when they are just giving me around 45 seconds to prepare.

Nevertheless, the test did not ruin my travelling and eating mood. As we were there for a few days, Jason had kindly arranged for us to stay at YMCA Penang. The place wasn't an exclusive 5 stars hotel, but it was decent place in town at a low budget .
I was even watching a show - Road to Asian Idol there..
That was when my friends said that Hady Mirza wouldn't stand a chance to win the contest..

Since Airasia's air fare for February had sky rocketed , I decided to take the MAS flight back home for Chinese New Year.Booking my flight for the Chinese New Year late in the December, I had to bear with the high price of air ticket. However, I get free food on the plane. Not free actually. But it is covered by the fare.

At the Spring, I was approached by some people to sign a petition. LOL! You got me right .
Its a petition. A petition for a safer Kuching . As the pamphlet says " Together we work for a better tomorrow", so I gave it a chance and signed the petition. Apparently , they are trying to get the government to provide more police stations to curb the rising amount of crime.Considering the bulk of petitions around , I wonder if they truly works its wonder.This afternoon I found a petition online calling for safe public transport.

After traveling on various types of public transport, I must say that safety is quite lax on public transports.The crowding and squeezing is common on the KTM especially on Friday and the weekends. In Kuching , I must say that the bus service here need upgrading. Perhaps we shall have something like "Rapid Kuching".

Talking about safety, on my way back from the Spring , 5 police patrol car whizzed pass at a speed of over 100 kmph. Gosh ,is a criminal on the loose?

It feels great to be back in Kuching. As a Kuchingnite myself, I immediately seized the opportunity to visit the Spring. Its the hottest place around Kuching now.

As I stepped into the entrance, I saw a familiar face at Starbucks. It was the guy who sat beside me yesterday on the plane. Lately, I realized Kuching is such a small place. Usually I would go around and not bump into anyone I know, but lately , it seems that everywhere I go , I would bump into familiar faces regardless of the type of places I go- airport , shopping complex.
While wandering around , I met my primary school classmate who just came back from Perth .
Seems like a lot of Malaysians are heading to Australia for education these days.

I shall not bore you with my shopping experience; however, I am pleased to say that I won a reload card.
=p More juice for my phone!

All I had to do was show the person a receipt of RM 250 and above and answer a question.
I guess I spent too much time in KL, because I get the feeling that the Spring seems a little small. Definitely smaller than Mid Valley but the Spring is still the biggest shopping complex in Kuching.

Its amazing how another month can silently creep away from us.

Arriving at Nilai on the 1st of July seems not so long ago - but now 7 months has passed. Reflecting back on the pass experiences would always be a gratifying moment; but now, it kinda make me feel very emo. The pass few months has been filled with a concoction of feelings: disappointment, regret, anger, frustation,satisfaction, joy,relieve,curiosity. And it is this few months that will change the my future.Perhaps it was my fear for failure but I kinda put on a facet of aloofness towards people and stuff. I know that the higher I aim, the more painful the fall will be. But, I just can't help it. My ambitious side of me has always prevailed in a battle deep inside me.I refused to let obstacles hinder my path;but sometimes fate seems to play a trick on me.Life is similar to a flight journey: at some point you will experience a certain amount of turbulence.

There were moments that my determination was crushed and I was left in despair; and it was this moments that showed me who really cared. I really appreciate them.

Yesterday night ( as in the night of 31 Dec) I went to Kuok How's house for BBQ and steamboat.
Unfortunately for us , rain started pouring down around 9.00 pm.
Although the rain did abate , it started to get heavier around 11 But we decided to go out, nevertheless.
So..the last few moments of 2007 , was spend in the car watching fireworks with my fellow friends near The Boulevard. Then I regretted leaving my Olympus camera at home. I really should make it a traveling companion.
After the firework show, we decided to go for a drink at Point One near BDC, before we decided to called a night ( 1.20 am)

News has reported that the Labor Party in Australia led by Kevin Rudd achieving a landslide victory while conservative Mr Howard would become only the second sitting prime minister in Australian history to lose his seat.The leader of the left-leaning opposition,has promised to immediately sign the Kyoto Protocol on global warming and withdraw Australia's combat troops from Iraq while Mr Howard has refused to ratify the Kyoto Protocol and declined to commit to a timeline for withdrawing his country's forces from Iraq.

I didn't.Let me ellucidate..Hahah.. Actually I only borrowed one; one was borrowed by Yung Terd, one by Cunn Yong and another one borrowed by my roommate. Since, Yung Terd and Cunn Yong went home already , they entrusted me to help them return the books..Gosh...

Its the holidays again

Its the holidays!!!
I took the opportunity and went back to Kuching-The City of Cats. But I'm don't actually miss cats as there are cats everywhere; even in Nilai. Maybe I missed the big cat statue at Padungan but not the ordinary cats.Haha! However, I do miss the kolo mee in Kuching. Its unique to Sarawak!! Thinking about it even make me hungry now. Haha.Well,I actually planned to study during the holidays , but as usual, the hasty characteristic of time has no mercy on us.You know what I mean.Time flies. But I got the opportunity to go to Evelyn's and Ellen's belated birthday celebration.

The venue was in Seremban. And I was there.It was an event where the 11 th INTIMA officially step down and the 12 th INTIMA officially take over.Clubs were given awards based on their preformance.AUP Club won the best event proposal and best academic affiliate. Bernard and me( I'm on the left)
